Happy Thursday! #TGIT (THANK GOD IT’S Thursday!)

Side Note:

I’ve been away from technology, (not particularly by choice!) however, here for a brief moment, I stayed as far away as possible, because nothing seemed to work quite right! Much needed… now that “break” is now officially over! And I am just totally inspired to really get back into the “life groove” again! The personal work, that I have been doing ON & FOR myself has been well worth the “life interruption,” that came with my technological challenges lately! There is a lot more personal issues involved as well, but that’s for a much later date, because I am on track again and loving life a little more each day! I am MOVING FORWARD and spending a lot of time working on gratitude, true gratitude, and it’s literally life changing. 

One thing I have been doing lately, is really being true to eating clean! When I fall off the wagon, I fall off the wagon. However, ever since my trip to Seabrook for my retreat. I have been excelling at this area. I have been very, very mindful about what I eat and what I put into my body. Really paying attention to when I am “really” hungry. And, watching out for when I am HANGRY! I’m not kidding this a real thing,and for someone like me, who experiences Binges, it’s best that I not get “Hangry!”

Thus….

I’ve been really good about my meal planning, prep, and having plenty of snack’s on hand! 

The two flavor’s I received from http://www.mightynut.com/ Vanilla and The Regular PB flavor are fantastic! They’re like a million uses for them. I was really happy that everything cooked with the powders, turned out excellent!

And, it adds to and blends well with coffee (my #1 thing I use to choose my protein,) for a quick on the go, yummy coffee with protein has always been one of my favorite post workout snacks.

Green Smoothie’s that taste like PB Cups is always a win!

Super Easy Recipe:My  PB Cup Smoothie

  • Almond Milk 8 Oz.
  • 2 TBSP Organic Cacao Powder
  • 2-4 Handfuls of Greens.
  • Dash Cinnamon & Turmeric
  • 2 Scoops Mighty Nut Peanut Butter Powder.

Any Kind of veggies or even Apple slices are great with the PB Powder.

Fashionably Early Friday’s — Superbowl Weekend Edition

TGIF! Happy Friday!

Another super early morning for me! Woke up at 3am, finally decided to drag myself out of bed at 4am. I don’t know why this happens to me every Friday Morning, without fail. I have been even trying to stay up late, so that I can sleep in and it does not work on Friday’s no matter how hard I try! all I can say is I can’t wait until nap-time today! O well, I’m up and going to make myself productive and start getting ready for Superbowl #49 Weekend!

Working on Menu & workout planning for the weekend! Just because it’s a holiday, doesn’t give me permission to fall off the wagon, #NoExcuses I am going to be making some deliciously healthy treats! But, a few indulgences will not hurt me! I am really excited about this Superbowl! I may do a little shopping for a New Jersey this morning as well!

There is one thing I hate about holidays, (yes, I consider Superbowl Weekend a National Holiday) and that is…. crowded stores! I am getting all my shopping and errands done this morning! Also, getting the house cleaned and all my homework done today so that I can actually enjoy the weekend! Probably, why I woke up so early. I am going to hit up Hot Yoga this morning, after my appointments.  Get it all done this morning and then…….. take an Amazing Nap this afternoon!

Another bonus…I am watching last night’s episode of Vampire Diaries. #dontjudge

I do appreciate my morning’s while everyone is sleeping, but 3am is just crazy! I need to re-set my internal alarm clock to something more along the line of 5-6am. That would be great, and I wouldn’t be dragging all day. But, I’m up and it’s time to get busy setting myself up for a great weekend! And, a great nap!

Loving Note — From Future Self

Dear Self,

Hello YOU!

What are you doing out of bed at 1 AM? Oh, couldn’t sleep again, too much on your mind. Stop going to bed so early! Make sure you have things finished before you go to sleep, so you quit waking up all night long with instant replays going on in your head about what you need to do, what you didn’t get that day, and what you need to do tomorrow and the next day and the next day! Stop stressing out over nothing. The is no point. You are on the right path, you have everything you need. The Universe has your back.

Again…I cannot stress this enough, stop worrying and stressing out all the time over nothing. Your future is bright, all you have to do it take a deep breath, be grateful, and enjoy the ride. You know you are on the right path. All this signs are there and excellent job there on picking up on them. Now it’s time to piece the puzzle together and put in the work that you know will not be hard at all. Take the leap, you know what for.

R & R this week! Sinus/allergy problems lasted all week! Enjoyed my downtime. Went to gym and couldn’t make it through the workout, I wasn’t ready yet. So, picked up a Mag and read about working out since I wasn’t up to it!

I can say with out a doubt that “Yes…I am having a Beautiful Life!”

Top 10 Healthy Habits I have adopted and stuck with!!!

1~* When I wake up I have H20 Ready infused with Lemon & Fresh juiced Ginger at room Temperature that I drink BEFORE I reach for the coffee pot!

2~* I stopped buying Coffees at drive-thru. My morning coffee is just coffee and Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk!

3~* I try something new with weird names every couple weeks that I have heard about online of from For The Glow. Richtnow I am loving Maca Powder and Spurlina added to my smoothies!

4~* When I don NOT want to work out… It is a CLEAR sign that I MUST work out! It works better for me to get out of the house and drag my @$$ to the Gym. I am always thankful for that workout and give it double effort!

5~* I go Meatless one day a week.

6~* I wake up early. Lately this has been backfiring and I have been waking up too early! Like 4 am too early! My perferred time would be at least 5:30am so I am not dragging or in need of a nap that day!

7~* I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS can be found with a water bottle!!!

8~* I take a few minuets in the morning to meditate, journal, and plan my day.

9~* I take some ME time at the end of the day. Journal to reflect, meditate, read, and almost always…. a bath including lotsa bubbles!

10~* I text a friend, or hubby when I know I am not hungry, but just feel like eating out of boredom! I just say, Tell me I’m not hungry!” Then I get a text back, “Your not hungry!” Easy peasy.

Try It Thursday! I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying a seriously hard Boot-Camp class before Yoga tonight! I have been watching from a bike, or elliptical.  I can’t even lie… just from watching this class is INTENSE! I will tell how if goes in the morning if I can walk! I think the hour Yoga class right after will help! It’s a relaxing in the dark with candles stretching kind of yoga class, which I am currently LOVING!!!

I am currently at Plateau weight. Even with great workouts and good eating. BUT< I can do better! So it’s time to BUST through this Plateau, figure out what needs to be switched up. I am taking a Mind-Body approach to this. I am getting out of my own way and stepping up my game! I KNOW I don’t have to be stuck here!

It’s Been Six Days Since my Last Confession………..

Last day on the detox! I totally stuck to it and I am really proud of myself! I’ve still had problems focusing to blog, even though I meant to blog everyday. But, I wrote in my own journal everyday. It’s honestly been a roller coaster ride for me! My emotions have been “off the hook!” OK… So I completed the first phase AWESOME! Now I have to stay on track and not go crazy! I will continue on with no sugar, pasta, bread, but adding in my morning coffee with almond milk. To start off I am doing  meatless until dinner. Then I will keep it simple Lean and Green. If I feel myself slipping I will ask for help/ support immediately! The caffeine in my coffee wasn’t the real problem, it was the sugar in my everyday life. That led to binges, and gluten binges. The program continues on, so I’m not just left out there, I have support, and goals!

The Universe has my Back! YES YES YES!!! Every thing happening to me makes me realize this more and more every day!

Pictured above is my YOU DID IT present to myself! I’ve scheduled two weekends in February in Seattle, to attend workout classes, to get out of town and STAY accountable! Plus meet up with my “GLOW” Girls! This year is all about DOING, ACCOMPLISHING, and SUCCESS! I really can’t say I lost a lot of weight. But, I didn’t gain any! Now is the time to kick up my workouts and JUST DO IT!
