Loving Note — From Future Self

Dear Self,

Hello YOU!

What are you doing out of bed at 1 AM? Oh, couldn’t sleep again, too much on your mind. Stop going to bed so early! Make sure you have things finished before you go to sleep, so you quit waking up all night long with instant replays going on in your head about what you need to do, what you didn’t get that day, and what you need to do tomorrow and the next day and the next day! Stop stressing out over nothing. The is no point. You are on the right path, you have everything you need. The Universe has your back.

Again…I cannot stress this enough, stop worrying and stressing out all the time over nothing. Your future is bright, all you have to do it take a deep breath, be grateful, and enjoy the ride. You know you are on the right path. All this signs are there and excellent job there on picking up on them. Now it’s time to piece the puzzle together and put in the work that you know will not be hard at all. Take the leap, you know what for.

Now, drink your good night tea finish your list and GO BACK TO BED! Today will be amazing! I know how much you like your sleep now GO!

Summer Bucket List

My Summer Bucket List — took a lot of thought!

There is so much to do during the summer — I am ready for some Outdoor adventures!!!

My Intention — is to try two different things a month, if not more! It’s time for some getaways!!!!

TODAY!!!!! Scary, YES! I am trying to talk my friend into taking off to the lake today for her SPECIAL B-day and we’ve always talked about cliff jumping and watched everyone else while we were floating on Sun Lakes in Washington State.  It’s a little bit bigger jump but straight down no rocks sticking out like that.

Rock Climbing! I have done this before…But I was like 21! Such a rush!!! I wanna do this with a few girlfriends!!!

Hello July~* July Intentions~*

Hello July~* Oh, how I missed you! I am ready for some SUMMER! June weather where I live is always bi-polar, but July is always nice! I’m sure this month will go by just as fast as all the other months! I swear I always feel like the month is just getting started and then it is over~*

OK! So I’ve officially changed the word goals in my life, to intentions!

This month is all about finding “balance” and creating habits.

My Intentions~*

* I intend to eat mindfully and drop some extra weight!

* My intention for the month is to get up to 1.5 – 2 miles without walking.

* Stick to a running plan & balance out other workouts.

* My intention is to clear clutter in my life, from computer clutter, phone clutter, and the big one HOME clutter!

* Feng Shui my life! Going through The Tao of Dana’s Feng Shui Book! (Note if you wanna join me message me!)

* #JustRunJuly Challenge!

* July 14th Start 33 to Glow Challenge

* Wake up and go to bed with intentions!!!

* Have some Fun!!!

*Go to Seattle for the Torchlight Run 5K in Seattle

Memorial Day Weekend – – Road Trippin — & Catch Up!

Road trippin on Memorial Day Weekend. Since, I will probabally have no service where we are going, I decided to keep a running log of my trip from my phone. We are headed to The Icecicle River, near beautiful Leavenworth, Washington. Hopefully, we catch some Salmon!! I was really stressed out leaving town this weekend when I am in my last weeks of school, finals, exams, I really brought all of my school books like I am going to get anything done! If I get my book read for my book report I will feel accomplished lol. Just hittinn the road, meeting friends there we are towing their boat, because we planned on going to Oregon, but plans changed, and we couldn’t take our boat where we are going. Hopefully, I stay on track brought some healthy snacks & food. Maybe a hike!?!?! Trail run!?! I know if I hook into a Spring Chinook, I will get my arm workout for the next two weeks! Well, just wanted to get this started and will add to it throughout the weekend!!

Well, we got in before dark and fished on the bank and didn’t get anything!

We were gonna sleep in our Honda Pilot but hubby decided to get a room in Leavenworth(a German town.) We had a awesome dinner at a little Italian place. So, good worth every extra calorie!!

Got up at 5am about ready to launch boat its cold and the river is running pretty fast. It’s beautiful out, but I’m sure it will be cold once we start moving.

Ok off we go!!!
Day 2 6am still  no cell phone reception, no fish! I’ve had the most deliciously wonderful cheat meals! Sorry, Not Sorry! Lol hopefully off to catch a fish, head home and homework homework all day Memorial Day! And the gym and green smoothies will be calling my name!!!

Day 3 — Pic at end of trip before we were on the road home. It started raining, no fish, I’ve been freezing, burning up and sun-burnt the last three days! My cell phone kept dying + no service + no fish + plus OWIE I look like a raccoon! O well, we got away, no kids and had a good time anyways! I won’t bore you with too many details. It was quite an adventure! The anchor to the boat got stuck and about a hour and a half the guys tried to get it out by climbing trees, fighting the rapids, and then going to a little hardware store and making their own anchor with chain, a bucket, rocks, holes, and a rope. It worked on some parts of the river. (We were drift fishing no motor on boat just a trolling motor allowed.) You had to anchor off to catch fish. Well, we ate out a lot in Leavenworth and everything was fantastic. I’m not even worried that they could be considered cheat meals! Worth every calorie!

Sunday night — I got back and CRASHED! I think I was sun-sick!

Monday — Homework all day I managed a whole weekends worth of HW in one day!

Tuesday — Back to school and my last two weeks and I have to buckle down like no other quarter! I was super pleased to still be down another pound,(even by not so clean eating all weekend!) when I went to my PE class! So far, in about a month I am down EIGHT POUNDS!!! I have broken my plateau and I am going to take major advantage of this! My weight gets stuck and then when I am off plateau I am steadily losing two lbs a week. Looking for my next marathon. I want to train right, for a 5 or 10 K. I’m thinking 5k that I run the whole coarse is a awesome goal!

Wednesday — Up early and ready to make today great! I love this Quote posted below! I’m still reading Miracles Now daily, and picking a random page. I’ve been doing some serious SOUL searching, maybe because I am at the end of the first part of my school, just summer quarter and I will have degree,but I am far from done! Trying to decide what path to take. I’m signed up to take signed up to take CNA class summer quarter for my remaining random credits. This is really pulling on my heart, I’m not sure becoming a nurse is for me. But, who knows, after this class I will either love it or hate it and decide to continue through the nursing program or change directions.

My truth — I don’t know which road to take. But, I am set up for all options!

I got this message in my email this morning! I LOVE my Daily Email From the Universe!

I’ve got decisions to make. But, I can take steps every day towards my dreams! Right NOW my focus is on the last two weeks of school, finals, exams projects, etc. If I think about it all, I’m overwhelmed! But, I choose to not get stressed and take it one step at a time! Getting in my daily workouts has been crucial to KICKING ASS during this hard quarter! I have to put ME first! And….. it’s working!

Superbowl Champion Russel Wilson has said all year and  going into this season, “Why not us?” and it worked! Seahawks have their 1st Superbowl championship! So I am using this mantra on myself! “Why Not Me?” and I took a HUGE leap of faith and registered to get my Personal Trainer Certification! I have been waiting for everything to be perfect, make my goal weight, etc. excuse, excuse, excuse! Well… I did it registered when the online class and Exam was on sale through Groupon! I didn’t even think about it, I just clicked BUY! I always planned on getting my Yoga Certification first, but I’m sure this will help me with that and who knows where this will take me?!?!? I’ve been debating between getting my Nutritional degree or going through Integrative. I have decided to keep pursuing my degree. Whatever my future path is I feel completely content in my decision, even though I have not shared this with hubby yet. I am nervous about his reaction. I really don’t wanna hear anything negative. I do NOT have the perfect body and that’s OK. I have been inspired by others who are not perfect, I don’t know why I feel like I have to be perfect to pursue this! Anyways… I’m excited and going to give this 110%!

I LOVE helping others! I feel so “complete” when I am motivating others! It really helps me to motivate myself as well! My secret dream would be a personal trainer that goes to peoples houses and helps them get out of their own way and find success!

I threw picture above in here! This really resonates with me on a very intense level! Kinda like transformers, “there is more than meets the eye!” I try to not judge a book by it’s cover and I have been really HARD on myself. I have been changing my thinking, my perspective, and in turn my whole life! I feel so positive right now! I had a couple weeks when I was sick and I was starting to get depressed! I no longer feel down. I feel hopeful that all the pieces are falling into place!

Taking Care of ME!!!!

SO…. all year I was the cardio queen, despite my hip and back issues. I just kept at it, probably making it worse for myself! I have been avoiding some very important things, Going to the doctor, who prescribed muscle relaxers, chiropractic deep muscle therapy (AMAZING), AND massage therapy!!! I started the deep muscle chiropratic therapy last week, I already feel SOOOOOOO much better. Plus stretching and Yoga were recommended. I just got my Tara Stiles 4 disk DVD,last week, and ended my night today with a Tone It Up Tuesday arm routine and 50 min of PM Flow. AMAZING!!!! Now I am heating my back and hips as recommended! I wish I had NOT been neglecting stretching and yoga! This is exactly what I need right now to complete my exercise routines and I feel so much more in tune with my body. I am still practicing meditation EVERYDAY! Image

Another neglected area, the dreaded dentist!!! I went last month for a root canal and survived it lol! Have one more cavity to fill and then work on my treatment plan for cosmetic work. Let’s put it this way I went 10 years with wisdom teeth that needed to come out and cavities for 10 years! It took two years to get them all filled! My secret to getting back in was I need nitro before a simple cleaning!!! Image

Next up is my appointment to the Gynecologist. NOT EXCITED about this at all but it has to be done!! 

We are only given one body in this life, and it took me a LONG time to really CARE for it! I quit smoking a year now. And I started when I was 14! I quit drinking in June, because my body just can’t handle it, ever since I had my gall bladder out. This has been my healthiest year EVER! I can’t wait to make 2013 even better!!!

It all started when I found http://toneitup.com/ and became a active Tone It Up girl. I love the community and on Twitter! I made my twitter account specifically fitness, health, and nutrition, for There is SOOOOOOOO much support and I have made so many friends. I love the nutrition plan. I changed my eating habits completely! I could go on, I’ll save all that for another blog. I have lost 20+lbs (this year) and have my work cut out for me to keep going! Image

Right now I am staying on track with my #elf4health challenge! It helps to have an amazing partner!!! 

I have 3 challenges coming up.

I am doing the http://www.fortheglow.com/resolution challenge! I have a group of 4 awesome girls (bonuses for having a group of 4 or more!) If anyone is interested is joining us on the team let me know! It was only 20 bucks, I was gonna buy the book, and got the challenge instead! 

The other challenge is Tone It Up members challenge, I think on the 17th of December! EXCITED for this! I did SOOOOO good for the #HolidayHottie challenge!!!
