Setting Weekly Intention’s Sunday #NoExcuses

Weekly Intention’s —-

I Intend to have an amazing week!

Spending some quirt time this morning, mentally preparing myself for my week! Planning is KEY! I have something to look forward to, a little getaway to Seattle this weekend! Which means I have to get super prepared!

Planning workouts, meals, (again) working on my time management skills this week.

TOTALLY looking forward to some away time!

Been having a ME morning! Gonna go take a hot detox bath &, mani/pedi and get everything organized and scheduled!

Plan for Success!

Include time for myself in my weekly plan! I am making everything harder on myself than it needs to be.

Wrote out myself a weekly “Pep Talk” in my journal this morning!

Monthly Intention’s —-

Get back in the swing of life with all the recent changes!

Meditate Daily.

Exercise Daily.

Every week work on my writing, block some time EVERY DAY for personal writing. Personal Goal is to work on getting something published! This month focus on articles. Let some of my creativity out! This IS my ME time!

Each week stop waiting until last second for homework assignments.

Have FUN! (Figure out what that is again!?!)

Take some weight off. I know what to do, just have to DO IT! No specific weight goal or anything, just do what I gotta do and it will come off. Let’s just say this extra weight want off my body just as much as I want it off!

Set routines in place.

Have a great month!

Give myself some Grace and remember to Breathe in and Breathe out!

P.S. Happy Football Sunday! My Superbowl picks, Seahawk’s Vs. Pats! ❤

Sensational Sunday — Random Thoughts

Happy Sensational Sunday!

MAN I’VE BEEN BUSY! (In a good, AMAZING WAY!) Sorry, for my lack of keeping up on the blog! First of all school is Fabulous! It’s a little more than I bargained for in the homework/assignment department! But, making it work! Three all online classes is NUTS! I knew that going in, but it’s kinda like having a baby! You forget the PAIN and work that goes into all of it! (LOL!) I made it through the cleanse I was doing last week. I feel SO much better. Nothing crazy,  just really a eat real food cleanse! Got some good workouts in. Feel like I have FINALLY taken care of my back/hip problems! Now, I just need maintenance! Feeling like myself again and it’s beyond words.

And, The Truth Shall Set You Free… After posting a little about my not eating as good as I should be, and gaining weight, I felt the biggest, hugest, RELIEF off of my shoulders! And, I talked to my friends about it as well. It was like I did a 180. And, just getting it out there, was enough to get me back on track. I went to the doctor last Friday and my cholesterol is WAY too high! I mean WAY! So, it was a major wake up call! Ever since then, I had some “Heart to Hearts” with my good friends and it just clicked and change happened! Not on the outside, but on the inside! It feels like my last blog post was a million years ago! I consciously made the decision to do better and I have. There is something really amazing about the Mind/Body connection! Then all the other pieces of my life started falling into the right places!

I hope you had an amazing weekend! I know I did! It started out on Thursday with a girls day trip out of town to go get a book for school, some shopping, and had a wonderful Girls Night out on Friday! I have been spending the weekend doing glowFIT instructor training. I will be all day today, as well. I literally made the decision Thursday to GO FOR IT! And, I am so excited! I finally feel like…… I am exactly where I need to be in life and doing WHAT I should be doing! It’s the BEST feeling in the world! I am so “Inspired!”

Anyways, busy, busy! My school work is going to be, a major catch up session, and I got this! No worries! At first I was stressed out and deiced it is not worth stressing out over! I’ve totally GOT THIS! Good things are happening and I am staying on the train, riding it out, and taking time to “enjoy the view!”

I hope you all are having a great weekend!!!

Lots of LOVE!!

Hello October ~ Challenge ~ Intentions ~ Success

Hello October

Hello October! I missed you and all your beautiful colors and weather!

I wish fall season lasted longer where I live. Wait, I wish all seasons lasted longer except for Winter!!!! LOL

OK, So I took a much needed blog break and I have been doing some personal growth work ON MYSELF!

I am going through A Course In Miracles with my Soul Sisters and I am in a super fantastic group for that! Also, in a super fantastic group and working my way through, The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron (AMAZING BOOK I RECOMMENDED IT FOR EVERYONE!!) I found the group for The Artist’s Way through Feng Shui expert, Dana Claudet from one of my favoritest Blogs like ever, The Tao of Dana.

My intention was to re-do the Blog, upgrade, redesign, etc. And then……………………. I got STUCK! Total creativity block and I didn’t even feel like opening it back up until it was done. But, life happens and I am in school Full time and working on other things. I am making a deal with myself to write a blog a day for a month and THEN work on upgrading and re-designing! Sounds like a fair deal! I’ve just got too much on my plate and I will be totally happy with just getting back to writing every day.

And, I found my way back in for” getting my blog going again” inspiration. 🙂 This may be a little confusing. So bear with me please. I love finding blogs, that lead me to other blogs that lead me to other blogs! LOL So, anyways one of my Soul Sisters, Marie over at Kind Inside posted about this Awesome October Challenge. I knew I was totally in and re-opening my blog and dedicating this Month to the Blog challenge~! Kind of a kick ass way to get my grove back!!!

So, I’M back and these daily Blog Challenges, will fit in perfectly with my life and Intentions Right Now!

The #OCTOBERBLOGGERCHALLENGE originated from another totally awesome blog that I just discovered today! Gacie’s blog is fantastic at Girl Meets Life!

I am changing the theme just a little for Day One just a little. Sometimes I call them “goals,” but this month seems like it is a better fit to call what I am doing this month “INTENTIONS!”

Because, simply put, my list is very simple and things that I “intend” on doing this month. Oh I have goals for sure. However, I can’t sat they will be completed during the month of October. “Goals,” I think of more long term, “Intentions” I try to do daily.

1~* Morning Pages Daily.

2~* Journal Daily. Plus ACIM lessons every day. This is different than morning pages. When I journal I write pretty neat and consciously think about what I am writing. My Morning pages are so sloppy and kind of “stream of conscious” writing or a Big ole’ Brain Dump! My journal always includes gratitude! I have so much to be grateful for!

3~* Take care of my Health! I have doctor appointments all month. working on my back and hips with Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage. I have a Physical with my family doctor and in HONOR of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I made a appointment with my OBGYN. Last, but not least… I have an appointment with an allergist.

4~* Give 110% to ONE fitness challenge. Here is my problem. I take on too many challenges and can never keep up on them all. So, other than following a little Tone It Up #FriskyFall challenge, I am partnering up with a really amazing girl,to REALLY Give MYSELF over to a 90 Day Challenge from For The Glow. I’ve been off the fitness wagon a little due to sickness and injuries and my fall Jeans from last year do not fit. Seriously, I went clothes shopping and nothing fit right, shopping for me is a hour and a half away from home and I came home empty handed! So, If your following me…get ready because I’m about to pull a serious transformation.

5~* Give 110% to my school work! So, far all my assignments and quizzes are 100%’s 🙂 This makes me happy I love my classes and I love getting good grades!!!

6~* Make Time For Myself. Yep, guess who is priority #1?!?!?! ME! Just really simple things make me happy. A long hot bath, a good book that is NOT related to school, meditation every day, and I even consider exercise ME time!!!

7~* MAKE time with my family!!! Very important! I REPEAT VIP!!!!!! Some things I plan is some date nights with hubby, I volunteer with my daughters cheer team and go to away games on the bus, and my time with my son is usually going to the movies or gaming! Also, I intend to have more family dinners!

8~* Frigging RELAX! When I feel like I am gonna explode. Just Breathe!

9~* Fall Cleaning and MAJOR clutter removal and organizing!

10~* This is kind of a BIG ONE…. WORK on my Time Management Skills to make all of the above happen!!!! Plan for SUCCESS!!! I will not over-schedule myself! I just need to set limits. Especially, when it comes to my phone, internet etc.

That My Friends is my Intentions for October!!! What are yours?!?! I would LOVE to hear them!!!

Sunday — Night Before MY 21 Day For The Glow — Metabolic Reset

Twas the night before the 21Day Metabolic Reset Challenge and all through the house…..

This isn’t my house!

And, 4 kids that aren’t mine are stirring allllllllll over the house. I am so totally prepped and ready to take on this challenge.

It’s not the fitness/ nutrition challenge that will be the challenging part, It is doing it from someone’s home with LOTS of kids. Five kids here and my two at home. Long story short… My best friends husband was in a bad accident at work and he is over in a special hospital until at least Sunday. My friend didn’t leave me a car-seat for the two year old. Thank GOD my daughter drives and has been helping me this weekend, Luckily I found a loner car-seat tomorrow and when my daughter will not be around to help.

I had to bring my juicer and blender, back and forth from home grabbing stuff and get food for all these kids and food for my challenge! Right now all of a sudden I have a beautiful quiet moment. Calgon take me away! Seriously, I’ve been here since Friday. It has been an adventure I will tell you that. And it’s a long week ahead of me! Oh yeah, and kids and myself have been sick. Me, bad sinus infection settled in my chest. Kids are getting over strep and one kid with a double ear infection. So, I have been to walk-in clinics lots of prescriptions to pass out and keep straight. I am so glad that I finally got on some and finally getting relief.

It’s QUIET night here. I let them all wear themselves out. I have my food prepped, detox tea that I am going to add Coconut oil and Cinnamon to almost ready. My alarm set early. I am gonna have to get my workout in, way before kids wake up. I am going to spend some time ME time journaling, reading, and mentally preparing myself! I am not gonna let this chaos get in the way of my challenge! I am ready to #getupandglow

I love that word!

I have the intention of success and getting everything taken care of here and other things that I have to be doing!

Starting off the challenge on Labor Day, I didn’t have plans anyways. So, I am happy I don’t have to turn down a good BBQ!

I haven’t really had a second to think, much less write a blog. I am going to use this blog to track my progress.

LOL the only thing I forgot was my yoga mat! OOPS. I literally brought half my house over here!

I got on the scale today and it said, “HELP ME!” LOL!!! I know for a fact all my fall clothes from last year do not fit, I have been living in yoga pants. I have to stay accountable and organized and I’m ready!

I honestly don’t know how my friend keeps her sanity. I’m used to two kids! So here’s hoping I make it through the week with out literally going CRAZY!

Anyways, it felt really good to hide myself away and write this!!!

Happy Soul Sunday — Birthday Edition

Happy Birthday To Me & Happy Sunday!!!!

Another year older & another year wiser~*

Woke up at my usual 4 am (no alarm) time. Spent some time with my journal and coffee! I can’t believe how fast the years are flying by at this point in my life. I’ve been waking up at 4-5am for months. If I go back to sleep I feel like crap when I wake up. So, I have graciously accepted that if the universe wants me awake at 4 am then… SO BE IT!

I used to be a night owl. But, this was when my kids were little and had early bedtimes. It’s taking me a long time to come to terms with this early hour. For a while I was dragging all day & a little pissed off that I couldn’t sleep in. Now I enjoy the peace and quiet of my mornings with every one still asleep. I would have to stay up REALLY late now to have this kind of peace and quiet. I guess it’s part of growing older. I do have to have a nap during my day & I am in bed before 10pm. I’ve tried staying up later, but my body clock still wakes me up this early! This may change as the days grow shorter. Just a few weeks ago if I got up at five, the sun was already coming out to greet me. Now it’s completely dark when I wake up. Once school is back in and perhaps I find a job this will all be changing. I used to enjoy my evenings when everyone was all sung in their beds, just as much as I have come to enjoy my mornings.

Everyday IS a Second Chance~* (My mantra to get me through each and every day!)

Now, I have a whole new year upon me. I am actually very excited for it!!!! I have had, major personal growth in this last year and it feels AMAZING!  It’s time to set some new personal goals/intentions for this next year. This last year I spent learning, preparing, and setting myself up for THIS YEAR! I’m at a even age and it’s still a even year and I have BIG plans! Personal growth and development are still my main priority. However, now I am READY in my mind, body, and Soul to take daily action towards making my dreams come true.

Priority #1 — ME — This is my time and TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Remind yourself that it’s okay NOT to be perfect! A big fat Halleluiah!

This is hard…..

But, I am getting there and realizing that it really is OKAY!

In fact I LOVE that I am Perfectly Imperfect!

Cherish Yesterday ~ Dream Tomorrow~ Live Today — Richard Bach

I wrote a very long journal to myself this morning, about what I want to accomplish for the next year!

This journal entry is super long and completely attainable. I’m not ready to share all of it here on my blog yet. But, I will write out my main point.

* Daily, Daily, Daily!!! Habits, Workouts, Making time for MYSELF, and taking a step each and every day towards the direction of where I want to end up in a year! #DreamBig

My first major intention is Weight-Loss! This requires some major dedication! I am once again on a plateau! I know exactly what I need to do to break it. It’s only a little extra effort #Igotthis #imREADY — I’m going to be brave and post my transformation and progress on my blog & keep my friends and family aware of this intention, instead of keeping it to myself. I know exactly what to do…Now I just have to DO IT!

I could write all day, I will get more into my intentions in future blogs, but for now I am gonna go ENJOY my Birthday!!!

No Excuses!! Bring it on!!!!!!!!

Sanity Saving Saturday — Mission Weekend Warrior

Happy Saturday!!!! Kinda been a little off and on all week. I don’t know if it was a little writers block, or I just didn’t feel like blogging! It wasn’t a BAD week just not a great one. I’ve been trying to adjust to being at home all the time and not in school or working. It’s been a tough adjustment.

CONFESSION….. I couldn’t get in to Chiropractor, but I did get in two massages this week. My back is feeling much better, but I still need to get in to chiropractor and get my hips aligned. This is holding me back from working out and marathon training! I got a couple good workouts in this week, however, I have honestly not been eating good! So, time to step up my game in the clean eating department! I’m gonna be doing kind of a elimination diet, not “diet diet” I will call it a plan! And, working on my meal plan, grocery list for this next week today. If you are curious about what kind of PLAN I am doing you can check it out at For The Glow It’s called 33 to glow and I am pretty much eliminating certain foods and seeing how my body responds, for the next month. It’s not that hard, I can still have coffee and lean protein, but it WILL be challenging!

This week I was also focusing on getting my home in order. So far, I’ve done a lot of cleaning, but it’s time to focus my intentions on organizing! Clearing LOTS of clutter! I don’t know why this comes so hard for me. Let’s just say I am “Domestically Challenged! Off to a good start thanks to having guests this weekend! But, I have to focus harder on getting ahead.

YES! It is time for me to EVOLVE! (This is the name of my gym…lol) I need to get my MIND in the game and my body will follow. I really know that the most important thing about killing GOALS is when I have my mind in the game. Kill the “I can’t do it voice!”

My Evolution…

Get back to everyday mentality working out. I was there before with amazing results. Active rest days are my friends! It keeps the momentum going, which is what I need right now. And, now that my back in getting fixed, it’s time to put marathon training action plan into action!! 100% COMMITMENT~!

So, just WATCH me, I am on a mission!!!

Made this my home screen on my phone. Yes, I do believe it’s time to be awesome! 🙂

Time for some SELF-LOVE! This includes working out and eating for optimal energy.

Daily meditation and  writing in JOURNAL! (MY ultimate sanity saver!)

Planning, and execution of my weekly planning.

I love this saying, posted above!

Sometimes, I feel like I fall down more than most, but it’s time to pick myself up.

It’s all about the commitment! My daily and weekly intentions. To do my BEST every single day, Because my BEST IS good enough!

I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed about the SF Nike Women’s Half, because I have not been getting my runs in. I have not stuck to what I said I would do as far and waking up and just going for a run. I have not worked on fundraising at all and time is closing in (TICK TOCK TICK TOCK,) FOURTEEN WEEKS UNTIL MY HALF!

I AM GOING TO STEP UP OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE AND FOCUS ON OUTSIDE RUNS. Next week, I may do runs at gym to see where I am as far as heart rate, where I am at on a physical level. My STARTING point. Also plan out my other workouts to give myself some well rounded training!

Well, I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.

I’ve made the decision that weekends are not meant for “REST days,” or “permission to eat whatever I want!” I know myself, and week days are better for this. So much easier to have a rest day in the middle of the week, less likely to fall off the wagon for the whole weekend!

QOTD — DO you have rest days on weekends or weekdays? What works for you?????
